MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – July 7, 2008 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr. and Thomas Paine
Went through the Selectmen’s mail.
Discussed with Eric R. Munson, III, Police Chief the possibilities of hiring a part time Police Officer. The Officer would be paid through the Community Policing Grant. The Officers responsibilities would be weekend patrolling from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Also, discussed with Chief Munson was the receipt of lap tops to surrounding towns through a FEMA grant. The Chief was requested to bring in the newspaper article so that the board could ask the question to the Emergency Management Director.
